Balenciaga's AW06 Quilted Motorcycle
I'll let you in on a shocking secret: your Bag Lady editor has never been particularly fond of Balenciaga's Motorcycle handbags. True, they may have been an It bag for a while back there, and the 'slebs are still sporting theirs, but I'm not convinced at all. But (you knew there was going to be one), I am pleasantly surprised by Balenciaga's reinterpretation of their iconic bag for AW06, the padded Motorcycle. Everyone else is doing quilting, so why not Balenciaga? It's not yet available to us mere mortals, and definitely won't be sold online as Balenciaga tend to be nasty pasties that way!
