Bumbag_2

When I was younger and still went on holiday with my parents, my Dad always used to travel with this lurid purple bum bag that is perhaps the biggest crime of fashion I've ever seen close up. As a kid, I used to beg him not to wear it but he trilled out that much-loved line from all bum baggers: "It's so much safer than a normal bag!". That may be true, but I think I'd rather take my chances and avoid bum bags like the plague. There is simply nothing stylish about something that adds an extra lump to your silhouette, is there? I know Shiny fashion guru Gemma is also anti-bum bag, but I'm curious, where do you stand? Can anyone convince me that bum bags really are a good idea? Even this rather nice studden version from ASOS.com for £15 hasn't been able to get me on side. So bum bags - style crime for all eternity or fashionable way to protect your goodies?
