Easter Bonnets

As we get older, I feel that we seem to lose interest in the good old traditions we grew up with. I remember Easter used to be fantastic: we’d trek to church kitted out in straw bonnets and pretty dresses, then spend the afternoon hunting chocolate treats and rolling eggs down the hill after having painted them in all kinds of vibrant patterns! Nowadays, the build up to Easter seems dominated by which eggs to buy and thoughts of filling up on confectionary! Does anybody still partake in the old stuff or is it really just for the kiddies?
