Where's Your Forehead At?

Forehead_1 It's Friday night and I'm at my local for the usual after-work drinks sesh when in walk a group of gorgeous young thangs all sporting the latest headband trend - foreheadbands. Yes, that's right, foreheadbands or ferronieres if you want to be posh. Basically, they're thin headbands worn around the forehead. Derived from the Leonardo da Vinci painting La Belle Ferroniere , think 60s hippie cross Grecian goddess. Or just do what most fashion commentators do when looking for inspiration and turn to Sienna Miller…again. The good news is that it's a cheap way to jazz up an outfit. Simply drop in to your local fabric or craft store and get yourself some ribbon or thin cord, anything you like! Yep, it's all about the forehead. [Kimberley Foster]

What was that UK kids TV show back in the late 80s/early 90s... The Girl from Tomorrow? The girl in the show (Alana?) had a 'magic' headband like this and that's all I think about when I see them!

This is an easy fashion trend.. you can simply use the cord or tassle that hold back ure curtains. Its cheap and multi purpose!!

Complete agreement, Whitney. Those thin cords work on beautiful women with Roman noses in old oil paintings. Unfortunately, most of us are not, in fact, beautiful women with roman noses in old oil paintings. I rest my case.

Awww man! Another fugly trend that I don't like! It reminds me of those sweat headbands that were so popular with the 80's Jane Fonda crowd. As usual, I blame you Sienna Miller. Why people of my generation want to look to her for inspiration, I have no idea.
