Mary-Kate's Eternity Shawl

Ok, so Mary-Kate Olsen is, apparently, a bit of a fashion icon for teenage girls. Though there's no denying she and her sis scrub up well on the red carpet, I can't help but wonder when it became cool to dress like a homeless person. To me, hobo is a bag, not a way of life! That said, the girl does know how to accessorise, and her eternity shawl (essentially just a big circle of knitted mohair) will be great when the temperature drops. It's for sale at ASOS for £120 / $228, so that better be some bloody special wool! I think I'm going to whip the knitting needles out instead. It's therapeutic, you know...
