Embossed Prada Bag

The age old question. Why, when you're paying $1229 for a bag, should you have to advertise the people who made it? I can understand that owning a Prada bag is something you want to brag about, but I've said it before and I'll say it again. A woman who has almost $1300 to spend on a bag shouldn't need to advertise the fact. That said, the glossies are raving about this bag. Am I the only one who doesn't get it?

Nope. You aren't the only one left puzzled in the wake of the compliments paid to this bag. It's quite odd, actually and reminds me awfully of those labelled biscuit tins.

This bag is vaguely reminiscent of an old sack used to store potatoes or grain. It looks sad and faded even though it is the 'height of fashion'. Trash really.

I absolutely agree with you ladies! I would never (even if I could afford it) purchase a Louis Vuitton, or anything else with it's name written all over it! Why carry a bag that is showcasing the company's logo when you could carry one that is understated and elegant instead?

I'm surprised at this Prada, they usually keep the logo to a minumum. The gaudiness of this makes it look like a knock-off!

Prada gets $1300 and free advertising. Just like Nike and Ralph Lauren Polo and everyone else. Big neon-esque Prada emblem aside, I sure do love the style and color!
