If you're new to online vintage shopping, try Candy Says. The site is a favourite with all reviewers and was even featured in The Independant's '50 Best Vintage Shops' feature. If I was in the UK, I'd pick up this vinyl 70's satchel in caramel. It's not leather, but it has a hint of Mulberry about it and I love the 'art-deco' detail on the front pocket.
