I've grown quite attatched to my phone of late, and I think it's time to dress it up a little bit. After all, any excuse to accessorise is good. There are loads of phone charms around at the moment, but I'm strangely drawn to this Tink one (obviously we can't call her by her full name, or Disney might sue...). I probably like it so much because it's only £3.
If you want an evening bag to go with your new Summer wardrobe, Inge Christopher's Bells & Butterflies Mini Hobo
($155) is a great choice. The rope strap, tiny bells and enamel butterfly charms give it the perfect hint of bohemia without it being too casual to be used when you're all glammed up. It's available in five colours, but the black is the nicest (and most practical).
Lulu Guinness has solved the age-old problem of matching your bag to your dress by making her bag into a dress. Only 500 of these limited edition 'evening dress' bags have been made, and they sell for $610.95. That's a hell of a lot for a novelty item, but novelty bags have always been what Lulu Guinness does best, and this a damn sight more useable than a birdcage or watering can.
Meet Kathy Van Zeeland's gorgeous creation, Kylie, a faux nappa washed metallic satchel with diamante studded buckles and straps. She's big sister to Posh (I love that, Kylie being bigger than Posh...) and she costs $79. I can't help thinking this one would make great hand luggage for a short-haul flight. Holiday time isn't far away now, you know!
Sequinned, metallic, white, boho, big and squashy, with ring handles and plenty of room for a towel, a book, a pair of sunglasses and a bottle of SPF 25. This is the essential Summer bag, combining every single trend going for only $14.50. It's times like this I wish I lived in the US.
Every time I see South Beach Rocks' gorgeously detailed boho jewellery, I can't help but imagine wearing the pieces with something gorgeous by Matthew Williamson (this dress, to be precise). With designer dresses out of my price range for the foreseable future, at least I can console myself with the fact that this 3-tier necklace is only £27. And there's always the 'Butterfly' by Matthew Williamson diffusion range at Debenhams.
The 'Girly Glamour' pink logo bags covered with flowers and bows have been one of the most successful Dior ranges (see them copied now at a Turkish holiday resort near you...). Now there's a new member of the family, the $760 Camera Bag, for label-crazy snappers everywhere. Ok, it's not actually brilliant for storing your camera, least of all because it screams 'mug me!' from fifty paces, but it is inspired by vintage camera bags. And it is pink.
