The fashion mags are constantly trying to pursuade us to dump our low-slung belts and start cinching our actual waists instead. But they've been saying it for years to no avail (well, would you ditch your hipster jeans in a hurry?). However, this season's range of wide cummerbund-style belts are going a long way to pursuade me. These ones are £40 each from Topshop. Don't tell me you're not tempted.
